Telara is a unique world, forged by the gods from sourcestone and located at a nexus of the elemental planes. Its landscapes are as varied as the elements themselves, its creatures both familiar and exotic.
The Shade rendered much of Telara inaccessible to explorers. The civilized territories are now bordered by impassible mountains on the north and west, on the east and south by seas churned into deadly frenzy as the very world is thrown into turmoil.
Yet, within these borders lie ancient forests and haunted swamps, fetid bogs and mountains that scrape the sky. Skies of crystal blue and darkest sable, orchards thick with fruit and jungles where vines interlace like a spider’s weaving, and desert sands as white and hot as the sun at midday—all of these and more can be found on Telara, and all hold wonder and danger enough to give even the mightiest Ascended pause.
Every region of Telara boasts unique challenges and adventures. Dragon cults stir up old hatreds, corrupt the innocent, and wake ancient horrors. Rifts ravage the landscape, some appearing where their element abounds, others a surreal contrast to the terrain around them.
Telara’s enemies have infested every corner of the world, from its bastions of civilization to its furthest frontiers. Only the mighty Ascended can uncover their schemes, slay their ringleaders, and shatter their threat to this breathtaking, war-torn world.
